My heart is breaking as I cannot carry the weight of seeing your children, your people hurting and mistreated. The burden is too heavy to carry, the load piling up upon me. It is so difficult to trust you in the middle of the valley, in the depths of the trenches to praise you and believe that it is well.
Lord, though I desire to cling to my worry, I choose to praise you and trust you and hold onto only You. In the midst of pain, you are righteousness and joy, a hope. In the midst of tears, you are peace and life. You promised to always be with me, and I believe you and take you at Your Word. Lord, though I cannot see, though it becomes harder and harder to believe in this dreary world of heavy rains, you are the hope of sunny rays through the darkest skies, and I trust You.
