Three very sweet words: Joy, thankfulness, and laughter.
This season, I have so very much to be thankful for.
For the gift of family all together in one home, for the unconditional love of friends, for a positive and encouraging community called CHAARG, for the precious kids that I am able to swim with at Nashville Dolphins, for an able body to move and serve, for words to encourage others and inspire, and most of all for a Savior named Jesus Christ who loves me each and every morning and evening, knows my name, knows the number of hairs on my head, and calls me His own beloved daughter.
And because of this, there is a deeper joy despite the struggles and challenges of this season. I can dance, sing, and be filled with laughter at times because there is nothing to fear and no reason to worry, but every reason to rejoice in the Lord who is so very good to me.
Thank you, Abba, for loving me anyways.
” ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” ” ~ Revelation 21:4
